Hyderabad: Many Shia protesters took out a rally from Qaiyam Nagar in Meer Momin Pahadi area and marched out on the main road to register their protest against the killing of famous Shia cleric, Shaik Nimr-al-Nimr in Saudi Arabia. It is alleged that the Shia scholar participated in the Arab Spring protest held in 2011. He was executed in Saudi Arabia along with 46 other men.
Telangana Shia Youth Conference of Hyderabad in a press statement issued yesterday condemned the execution of the Shia cleric and demanded the UNO to probe all these executions.
