I learnt ‘philosophy of dreams’ from Kalam: Sisodia

New Delhi :Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia today said he learnt the “philosophy of dreams” from late President APJ Abdul Kalam and the government is working on the veteran’s suggestions, including reduction of school curriculum.

Sisodia, who is also the state Education Minister paid tributes to Kalam on his 84th birth anniversary and shared his memories of the former President with students of APJ School, Shekh Sarai.

“I learnt the philosophy of dreams from Kalam Sir and now dreams do not let me sleep. Kalam Sir taught us how to read Physics like ‘Geeta’ and how to find physics in ‘Geeta’,” he said in a series of tweets.

“We are working on many suggestions of Kalam Sir. Reducing 25 per cent curriculum is one of them. He told me that if curriculum of 9th to 12th is reduced up to 25 per cent, it can save one year of student’s life. That’s the gift for him,” he said.

Sisodia further said as per Kalam, the focus should be on “skill based education”.
“And we will definitely do this,” he added.
