In a mail to Siasat Urdu Daily, Saara Hameed Ahmed, Indian female Muslim pilot clarified that she never faced Islamophobia. “In my interview I never said any such thing as Islamophobia or had I mentioned anything against anybody about me being treated wrongly in the society, in India as well as abroad”, she clarified.
She said that she never been treated badly not pressurized by anyone under any circumstances. She also clarified that she never claimed as a first Muslim woman pilot in India but one amongst the few Muslim women pilots.
