Hyderabad: Nampally Criminal Court cross-examined retd. Prof. Forensic Medicine for the 2nd consecutive day during the hearing of Chandrayangutta attack case continued on daily basis. During cross examination Dr. P Hari Krishna told the Court that the bullet injury resulted from a firing done from a distance of one a half feet.

Ibrahim Yafai was shot dead by Jani Miya, the gunman of Malakpet MLA, with his service pistol. He told that he could gauge the distance from which the bullet was shot by looking at the clothes but when he was shown a photograph of jeans pant which had bullet mark, he told that he couldn’t say if the mark at the pant was due to firing or any other reason just by looking at the photograph. However he agreed with the defence counsel that most of the part of injury sustained as a result of firing usually becomes black and tattooed. He admitted that such injury occurs when the bullet is fired from a short distance.
