Identification of buildings for Minority Residential Schools is in full swing. Government has roped in chiefs of various minority institutions for identification of buildings in districts. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor and Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah were on 2-day visit to the districts.
Prof. S A Shukoor identified buildings for establishment of 5 residential schools in Warangal. He visiting various mandals and interacted with locals. Prof. S A Shukoor along with the local officials of Minority Welfare and Minority Finance Corporation identified suitable buildings for the residential schools. He appealed local Muslims to admit their children in Minority Residential Schools and eliminate educational backwardness.
He asserted that first time in the history of the state government has decided to establish 70 residential schools at one fell swoop. The medium of instruction of these schools will be English however Urdu will be compulsory language.
