I’m not running for public office, says Mark Zuckerberg

Menlo Park: Mark Zuckerberg, CEO Facebook said that his visits to different states are for the sake of building relationships when he was questioned, whether it was for political reasons.

In a Facebook post, He had said that some facebookers have asked if the trips refer he’s running for public office. The 33-year-old billionaire said that he’s not running for anything, reported DC.

He told that “to get a broader perspective,” he is visiting around the country.

Facebook is looking for the new people, who are beyond the facebook users, he said. He writes that it may be important that the platform connects users to “people you should know.”

He describes those as people outside a user’s social circle that as he says “provide a new source of support and inspiration.”

Zuckerberg also said that Facebook is exploring new ways of connectivity building.
