Telangana Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy said that the doctors of All India Institute Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have declared that it is almost impossible to separate the conjoined twins Vaani and Veena through surgery.
Lakshma Reddy said that a team of doctors from London and AIIMS have conducted a detailed study on the conjoined twins. However, they said that the surgery for their separation could be highly dangerous and fatal for both.
The minister said that the Telangana Government would extend all required help to the family of Vaani and Veena, who have been staying for several years in Niloufer Hospital. (INN)
