Increase in Cyber cases in Telanaga since its formation

Hyderabad:  Home Minister, Nayani Narasimha Reddy informed that as many as 2,124 cyber cases have been registered after the formation of Telangana State in June 2014.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Local police stations have been registering a lot of cyber crime cases rapidly increasingly day by day said the state government to the Legislative Assembly on Friday.

Courses on Cyber crime investigation, case studies, CDR analysis, social media investigation, IP address tracing will be communicated at TS Police Academy.

Investigation skills of the police on cyber crimes are being developed by constructing the huge capacity programmes by CID.

The government gave Rs 5 crore for acquiring the software and hardware control and command centres in districts and CID, said Mr. Reddy.

Soon the new commissionerates will be set up across the state and Cyber Labs in all the districts, he said.
