India, Bangladesh to begin secretary-level talks on Monday

India and Bangladesh will hold home secretary-level talks on Monday in Dhaka to discuss issues pertaining to security and border management, an official statement said on Sunday.

“Security and border management related issues between the two countries are expected to be discussed,” the ministry of home affairs statement said.

The Indian delegation, comprising Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Border Security Force (BSF) Director General D.K. Pathak and senior officers of the home ministry, will participate in the meeting.

Joint secretary-level talks between the two neighbouring countries will be held on Tuesday in Dhaka.
