Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will inaugurate 19th All India Urdu Kitab Mela (Urdu Book Fair) on December 12, at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium. The book fair is being organised by National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) New Delhi in collaboration with Telangana Urdu academy. The fair will continue till December 20.
Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Vice Chancellor Urdu University Dr. Aslam Parvez, Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel and others will attend the inaugural function.
75 publishers across the country have set up stalls. Various cultural programmes will be held for 10 days. Inaugural function will be held on December 12, at 4 pm.
Prof. S A Shukoor has appealed Urdu speaking people to make the fair a success.
