Heavy rainfall warning in Telangana, AP: MET

Hyderabad: According to the India Meteorological Department officials most places in the two states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh received heavy rainfall due to low pressure and deep depression built over the area and that the southwest monsoon is yet to reach the states.

The department has also issued a heavy rainfall warning in the next 24hours for both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It has also said the southwest monsoon has further moved into remaining parts of central Arabian Sea, the Konkan area, north interior Karnataka, parts of Rayalaseema and some more places of coastal Andhra Pradesh.

A deep depression has formed over south Bangladesh and its neighbouring places which is likely to further move north- northwards and form into a depression in the next 12 hours, DC reported.
