Muscat: An Indian nurse from Angamaly in Kerala’s Ernakulam district has been stabbed to death in Salalah city of Oman.
25-year-old Chikku Robert, who was reportedly five months pregnant at the time of her death, was an employee at the Badr Al Samaa hospital in Salalah along with her husband.
“She was found dead in her apartment yesterday. She was supposed to be on duty by 10pm. As she didn’t turn up to duty, her husband went to the apartment only to find her lying dead,” Times of Oman quoted Manpreet Singh, the Indian consular in Salalah, as saying.
The police have sealed the area and further investigation into the matter is on. (ANI)
