Aatmakur (A.P): According to the report of Aatmakur Police of Anantapur District in A.P. the father of Shakuntala invited her lover Shabbeer Basha to his farm and slaughtered him into pieces. Father does not seem to have tolerated this inter-religious marital affair of his daughter. Some of his body parts of Shabbeer Basha were thrown into the canal.

The hands and legs of Shabbeer Basha were tied up. They were found in a dry bore well. The wife of the slain, Shakuntala confessed the murder. After this murder situation in Amtakur became tense.
