Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana is organizing International Women’s Day Celebration on a large-scale in the evening today at Lalit Kala Thoranam, Public Garden on a large-scale. CM of Telangana State, Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao will be the Chief Guest, Ms. Padma Devender Reddy, Dy. Speaker of Telangana Assembly will preside over the function. Union Minister of State for Labour, Mr. Bandaru Dattatarya, State Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Mr. T. Nageshwar Rao, MPs, MLAs and MLCs will attend this function.
Mr. KCR will distribute awards to prominent women in recognition of their service. The award will consist of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation. Dr. Rama Melkote, K. Mankubai, B. Thresa, Mogulamma, Ch. Kamalamamma, K. Lavanya, M. Sarita Reddy, Capt. Deepti, Dr. Ph. Sagi, Tarabai, Dr. Morchola, S. Devi, Shamala, Sandhiya, Nikhat Zareen, A. Vijaya, Akhileshwari, A. Saritha, Nainavati Devi and others will be given awards.
Ambassador of Telangana State and noted Tennis player, Ms. Sania Mirza, Ms. Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gutta, PV Sindhu and others will also attend the function.
