Invincible TRS has rewritten history: KTR

Describing the TRS as “Tiruguleni Rajakeeya Shakthi” (invincible political power), IT & Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao said his party has rewritten history of Hyderabad through clean sweep in the GHMC polls with the citizens giving it a massive mandate. Ridiculing the Opposition parties for their baseless criticism, KTR said now the Opposition leaders should respect the people’s mandate and reform themselves as true politicians.
Addressing a jam-packed media conference along with ministers P Mahender Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy, T Srinivas Yadav, D Srinivas and others at Telangana Bhavan here, KTR, who is tipped to be adorning Municipal Administration portfolio said the TRS emerged unsurpassable political party. The victory in the Greater Hyderabad polls can be attributed to the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Every promise made and assurance given will be fulfilled, KTR announced amid glee. “The results reflect our working style and functioning and all Hyderabadis believed in the ruling party. Irrespective of caste, religion, region, the people gave us mandate and the TRS Government will make efforts to make Hyderabad a global destination”, he said.
Minister Mahender Reddy said the people gave a massive mandate to the TRS believing that KCR alone will develop the city as a global destination. Despite Opposition’s propaganda, the people reposed faith in the ruling party, he claimed. Another minister Jagadish Reddy expressed satisfaction over the landslide in the GHMC polls. The results reflect the mandate to strengthen KCR’s hands to make Hyderabad a global city and Telangana a golden State. The TRS regime will keep its all promises of double bedroom, welfare and others, he assured.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said it is the people’s verdict. He said in the 30 years of history of Hyderabad such one-sided majority was not given to any single party. Credit of winning majority seats will go to KTR, who has shown his dynamism and enthusiasm during campaign”, he said.
D Srinivas said KCR leadership got support from all sections of the people. KCR will decide the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and focus on implementing manifesto as per plan. (NSS)
