Anti Corruption Bureau has unearthed large scale irregularities and corruption in Shaadi Mubarak Scheme in Saroor Nagar and Rajendra Nagar mandals and arrested one person in this connection. Deputy Superintendent of police Anti Corruption Bureau Hyderabad Range Mr. Prabhakar told press persons on Tuesday that Aijazullah Khan S/O late Rahmatullah Khan, R/O New Baba Nagar, Balapur, owner of Khan Mobile located at Pahadi Shareef has been arrested. He admitted that he in connivance with Taheruddin Senior Assistant of District Minority Welfare Office Rangareddy had done misappropriation of funds.
During interrogation Aijazullah Khan told that he submitted 16 applications of Shaadi Mubarak scheme enclosing fake documents to Taheruddin who played key role in approval of funds. DSP told that misappropriation of funds to the tune of 8.16 lakh has been done. This misappropriation was unveiled after the verification of just 75 applications.
