Islam: a religion based on justice not equality

Hyderabad: Islam is a religion based on justice not equality. Rights have been given according to one’s obligations. Islam is the true “natural religion”. Its truth needs to be kept in mind. Halala is not a planned action nor it is needed every time. There are 9 methods of separation between husband and wife out of them 8 methods do not need Halala for reunion. These views were expressed by Mrs. Jaleesa Sultana Yaseen advocate while addressing a public meeting, organised by All India Muslim Personal Law Board, under the supervision of Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Secretary and convenor Tafheem Shariah committee, at Maharaja Garden, Qutubullahpur.

Mufti Abad ur Rahman Qasmi Director Idara-e-Sirat-e-Mustaqeem, Mrs. Nasera Khanam, President Jamat-e-Islami Telangana (Women’s wing), Maulana Mohammed Abdur Raheemuddin Ansari, Maulana Ahmed Wameez, Mr. Azharuddin Secretary Jamat-e-Islami addressed on the occasion. Dr. Qudsia Sultana cited the statistics and said crime rate dropped where Muslim Persona Law is implemented.
