Islamic laws are enacted by the Creator of the Universe Himself, hence they are in accordance with human nature and as there is no possibility to change or modify the human nature similarly Shariah laws cannot be changed. Maulana Khaled Saifullah Rahmani General Secretary All India Muslim Personal Law board told this while addressing the inaugural session of the 3-day workshop entitled ‘Understanding of the Islamic Law’. Giving an effective reply to those who raise voice to amend Islamic laws, he said however progress may be made by humans in the field of technology, but there is no place for amendment of Islamic laws.
Maulana Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin Faheem, Maulana Mohammed Husamuddin Jaffer Pasha, Justice Shah Mohammed Quadri, Maulana Mohammed Raheemuddin Ansari and others were present on the occasion.
Maulana Khaled Saifullah Rahmani termed permanent maintenance to the divorced women as illogical. On the occasion Justice Shah Mohammed Quadri released the book ‘Overview of Family Laws in Islam’ prepared by All India Muslim Personal Law Board.
Maulana Omer Abideen Qasmi Madani, Mrs. Sameena Subhani, Dr. Qudsia Sultana, Maulana Shahed, Mrs. Jaleesa advocate addressed on the first day of the workshop. Dr. Lateefunnisa delivered vote of thanks.
