Job Description:

The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for leading a Server SME group, managing mission critical Servers and Datacenter infrastructure, contributing into Technology Architecture and IT Security and setting direction for Root-Cause and Problem Resolution to ensure Business Service excellence and optimal computing infrastructure across QuisLex global locations.

Job Role
Develop and deploy an IT strategy that is aligned with the companys Vision
Identify Salient features of new emerging technologies and present relevance of new methodologies/systems to QuisLex Senior Management Group (SMG)
Recognize the potential usefulness of these emerging technologies in the on-going projects.
Offer IT Infrastructure and Services consultation on-demand
Manage the Datacenter.
Ensure compliance to information security as per ISMS requirements.
Build and Share knowledge on new technologies among the associates

Job Responsibilities
Manage and provide technical guidance and assistance to Server Run team in support of essential IT functions including Administration, Maintenance, Configuration of Virtual Platforms, Windows Operating Systems and Enterprise Applications.
Resolve complex Enterprise-System hardware and software problems; Collaborate with peer teams and vendors in solution evaluation and decision making process.
Develop and maintain Server Installation and Configuration procedures.
Fronting Business Users and Technology group to implement solutions that meet business needs and addresses impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure.
Significant responsibility in managing the Data Center, Servers, Storage inventory and Procurement including equipment and software licenses.

Job Specifications

1. Qualification
B.E/B.Tech/Masters degree in Computer Science or IT related from a reputable university.
Experience operating in a large Enterprise environment and understanding of implementation of systems at scale.
Strong Technical skills in various editions of ESX/VSphere and Virtual platforms, Windows Server operating systems including Administration and Clustering; Working knowledge of Powershell, Solarwinds other server/application monitoring tools
Experience with PowerShell scripting and system automation
2. Experience: 10+ years
Solid experience in design, configure, implement, manage and optimization of virtualized environments with VMware vSphere and ESX.
Expertise in design, configure, implement, manage, optimize windows servers infrastructure including advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, Windows application servers (Mailing servers, SharePoint etc.)

3. Skills
Proven expertise in Server Virtualization (VMware, Hyper V) environments
Proven expertise in Server Hardware sizing, Blade servers
Proven expertise in Windows operating systems. Linux is a strong plus.
High familiarity with best practices in configuring and tuning virtualized environments and Windows servers
Working knowledge in servers vulnerability management
Expertise in storage architecture
Strong knowledge in IIS, Application hosting & Webserver administration
Strong knowledge of SQL, and at least one major database engine (preferably MySQL and MS SQL Server).
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including the ability of writing macros in VBA.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint servers implementations and migrations
Familiarity with ISO quality standards a strong plus, in particular ISO 27001 and ISO 9001

4. Soft Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in technical and non-technical topics; Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; Strong organization skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to interface with QuisLex clients and their technical staff
