J-K: Army jawan injured in mine blast

Shahpur (Jammu and Kashmir) : One Army jawan of the 56 Artillery Regiment was injured in a mine blast in Shahpur area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch sector on Monday.

On Sunday, two porters of the army were seriously injured in a land mine blast at Keran Sector near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district.

The injured, identified as Abdul Majid Mir and Pervez Ahmad Mir, were shifted to Army’s 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar

One of the injured porters is said to have lost his right foot in the mishap. (ANI)
