Baramulla (Jammu and Kashmir): A joint search was conducted by the Baramulla Police and Jail authorities on Sunday in Sub Jail Baramulla in North Kashmir.
The search was conducted on the basis of information that some incriminating material including unauthorised cell phones are being used inside the jail premises.
While conducting the search, 14 cell phones and some incriminating material was recovered from the possession of the jail inmates.
An FIR has been registered and investigation is on as to how these articles which is not authorised as per jail manual have made entry into the jail premises. (ANI)
