Jagan bail review case adjourned to April 21

The special court for CBI cases today adjourned to April 21 the hearing on CBI petition seeking cancellation of bail given to YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy, who allegedly involved in various criminal cases.

The counsels of Jagan also filed counter petitions against the petition of CBI. The CBI recently sought cancellation of bail granted to Jaganmohan Reddy for allegedly trying to influence a crucial witness in a corruption case registered against him six years ago. The agency has moved an application in this regard in the Special Court here.

Jaganmohan Reddy was given bail in 2013 with a warning not to tamper with evidence or influence witnesses. The CBI had registered a case against Jagan on directive from the High Court for alleged cheating, criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and corruption. (NSS)
