Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal today said that he received some explanation from YSRCP President and Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on his alleged remarks that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should be killed in public for failing to keep the promises.
Addressing a press conference at Secretariat here the CEO stated that I had directed the Kurnool Collector to send a detailed report with video clippings to find the veracity of Jagan’s remarks in Kurnool district during his poll campaign for Nandyal by election. “I will personally watch the video on receiving it and will send the details to the Election Commission of India for further action. We have received 44 complaints of violation of election code which include some Ministers and steps will be taken on finding the details. With regard to a plaint on Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Himanshu Motors row, he said that he got the details and sent them to the EC. (NSS)
