Jaipal Reddy alleges secret ties between KCR-Modi

Congress senior leader and former Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy on Thursday alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was having secret ties with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking to media persons here, Jaipal Reddy said that KCR was hiding his friendship with Narendra Modi due to the fear of losing support of minorities and other progressive sections.

Jaipal Reddy also described KCR as the most opportunist politician, but a good businessman. He said KCR praises Congress president Sonia Gandhi only when he could derive some benefit. He said that the Congress party granted statehood for Telangana to ensure growth and development of its people. However, by misusing power, KCR confined the benefits only to his family.

The Congress leader also described KCR’s hunger strike of 2009 as fake and said he was administered nutrition injections while fasting. He said NIMS has the complete record of those injections which were administered to KCR. (INN)
