Baramulla (Jammu and Kashmir) [India]: A two day youth festival, ‘Jashn-e-Baramulla’, was concluded on April 26 with full zeal and enthusiasm wherein the youth of Kashmir valley displayed their talent at the event in Baramulla.

One of the major attractions during the event was an exhibition match of women’s football Team of the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association.

High school girls from different states enthusiastically displayed their football skills showing their talent and command over the game. All the twenty two girls belonged to Sublime Club, Kashmir Football Club and JJ7 Clubs and have been currently undergoing training under the coach of JJ7 club.

While the girls displayed their football skills, the excitement, happiness and enthusiasm of the local youth especially girls was noticeable as they readily agreed to refer the match.

Despite the tense atmosphere due to stone pelting in the Kashmir Valley, girls have been working hard to be part of National Football team and represent India in the international competition which is highly commendable. (ANI)
