JD (U) slams distorted mindset of RSS

New Delhi: Slamming the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for its recent remark on beef, the Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday alleged that the people of Bihar have rejected this divisive politics in the recently held state assembly polls.
“This reflects their distorted mindset. They want to create division with such excuses. They are in search of Hindu vote bank. They have got disappointment in Bihar. The people of Bihar have rejected this divisive politics. They will have to change their strategy or they will face defeat every time,” JD (U) leader K.C. Tyagi told ANI.

An article in ‘ Organiser’, a publication by the RSS sympathisers, has stated that those who insist on eating beef want the freedom to insult Hindus and the same people have indirectly silenced sane voices.

“In the name of freedom to eat food of ones choice, they are demanding freedom to insult Hindus. Issue for them is not about fundamental right to eat, but the issue is fundamental right to insult the Hindus…These bunch of people who have enjoyed the spoils of power under the Congress government have indirectly silenced all sane voices,” the article says.
