A 28-year-old man committed suicide after his wife reportedly refused to give him money to consume liquor.
According to Neredmet police, the deceased, S. Balasadan, was jobless and a habitual drunkard. On Wednesday night, he asked his wife to give money to consume liquor. On refusal, he resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Ramakrishnapura. (INN)
