`The Jungle Book’ gets Bollywood flavor with PeeCee, Iffran Khan

New Delhi : Disney India has roped in Bollywood celebrities to voice its characters from ‘The Jungle book’s Hindi version which is bound to get audiences excited.

Priyanka Chopra will be lending her voice for the python Kaa, who is voiced by Scarlett Johansson in the English version, Irrfan Khan will be the voice of the loved character

Baloo, who is dubbed by Bill Murray in the international version.

The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actress Shefali Shah will dub for the wolf Raksha, veteran actor Om Puri will lend his voice of the black panther Bagheera,.

Nana Patekar is set to lend his voice to the character Shere Khan once again.

He had dubbed for Sher Khan the early 1990s in Doordarshan’s animated TV series the ‘Jungle Book: The Adventures of Mowgli.’

The trailer of the film looks extravagant, and being dubbed by Bollywood’s A-listers will be sure to add to the appeal of the film.

Indian-American actor Neel Sethi will be seen as Mowgli, and the film will release in India on April 8, 2016. (ANI)
