Justice Karnan may have crossed The Indian Border to avoid arrest says his close aide

Chennai: Justice Karnan is reportedly missing after Supreme Court issued an arrest warrant for him and ordered West Bengal Police to execute the order. He was last seen at a public conference he held in Chennai.

West Bengal Police along with Chennai Police went on a search for him, but that joint operation was unsuccessful since he already left Chepuk government guesthouse he stayed in before they reached him.

The police went to Srikalahasti, the temple, he said he was visiting before leaving the guest house. The temple is in Andhra Pradesh120 kilometers from Chennai. Tracking his cellphone they reached Srikalahasti but couldn’t trace Justice Karnan.

“He did not arrive. We have no idea if he will reach the temple tomorrow (Thursday),” said the official at the temple when asked by the police.

Justice Karnan’s aide Kumar said the judge may have crossed the Indian border into Nepal or Bangladesh by now as told to Indian Express.

The Indian Express has also reported that Justice Karnan’s legal adviser and a close aide also told Justice Karnan will only return to India if the President of India gives him an appointment, as reported in Indian Express.
