Kadiam’s resignation from Lok Sabha accepted


The resignation of Telangana deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari from Lok Sabha membership has been accepted.

This was announced by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan after commencement of first day monsoon session of Parliament. It may be mentioned here that Kadiam Srihari, who was elected from Warangal Lok Sabha constituency in the last general elections, was inducted by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao into his cabinet and made him deputy chief minister. Later, Kadiam was elected as MLC of Telangana Council. (NSS)
