Los Angeles:Rapper Kanye West, who was hospitalised for exhaustion and sleep deprivation on Monday, is expected to stay in the hospital for several more days.
West was admitted to UCLA Medical Center.
His wife Kim Kardashian West visited the rapper on Thursday morning and stayed for sometime before leaving for her family’s Thanksgiving celebration, which will be held at Kylie Jenner’s Calabasas home, reported People magazine quoting a source.
According to the insider, the couple’s two kids daughter North, 3, and Saint, 11 months are currently with Kardashian West’s mother Kris Jenner.
West’s hospitalization came shortly after he canceled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour. The rapper, 39, was apparently sleep deprived and was not taking care of himself.
“He understands that getting help at the hospital was necessary. He is resting and getting help. They are taking it day by day,” the source said.
Kardashian, 36, skipped 2016 Angel Ball in New York City to be with West in Los Angeles.
“As soon as she heard, all she cared about was getting to Kanye. She was so worried and didn’t feel better until she was with him. She of all people knew how hard he had been pushing himself,” said another source.
