‘Kapda Bank’ satisfies clothing needs of 80 persons per day

Islam emphasizes feeding the hungry and clothing the naked and promises great reward for doing that. This is the reason why Muslims donate such clothes to poor relatives, friends and neighbours which they themselves want to wear. There are thousands of people in our city who strive hard to make both ends meet hence they don’t even dream to buy good clothes. In this scenario Siasat Millat Fund, Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hand set up ‘Kapda Bank’ to satisfy clothing needs of the poor.

Secretary and Trustee Faiz-e-Aam Trust Mr. Iftekhar Husain told that the one of a kind Kapda Bank was launched on April 27 in a part of the Abid Ali Khan Eye Hospital building Darushifa and by the Grace of Allah, on an average 80 persons are provided clean clothes daily. They include new and used clothes. Dresses for gents, ladies girls and boys are available in the bank. The dresses are given to white ration card holders.

According to Mr. Iftekhar Husain it is pleasing to note that our rich class is getting awareness and they are also persuading their family and friends to donate clothes in the Kapda Bank.
