Karimnagar: Yet another shameful act has surfaced where a minor Dalit girl was raped by a tractor driver on Saturday.
The 13-yr-old, a VIII class student, was allegedly raped by a 23-yr-old driver who picked her up from her school on Saturday.
Sub-Inspector A Naresh Reddy told the accused who was known to the girl, took her girl to a fort on outskirts of Karimnagar and raped her. He later dropped the girl back at her school in Kothapalli village.
The girl on reaching her home informed her parents about the horrendous crime she was subjected to.
Police has registered rape case under section 376 against the accused, Telangana Today reported.
