Kashmiri unemployed youth want to create employment opportunities for others

SRINAGAR (Nazima Akhter): When most of unemployed youths are wandering here and there in search of employment, a Kashmiri unemployed youth is trying to create employment opportunities for others.

A 24 year PG student from central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District in Jammu and Kashmir wants to create more employment opportunities to unemployed youths of Valley.

Beigh Irshad who is pursuing PG in Journalism after completion PG in Political Science is all to set a unit where he can provide employment for others which was his childhood dream.

Irshad completed his schooling from a boarding School (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) in a remote area of Hatbara Ganderbal in Jammu And Kashmir state in year 2009.

He was a Arts (Humanities) student and have been very passionate about writing, reading since a very young age.

Born in a remote village Kangan some 60 Km from summer capital Srinagar on Leh Sringar Highway, Irshad like other Kashmiri’s have eternal love for Kashmir and everything related to it.

Like other youths of Kashmir Irshad too has been out of state many times but every time his ideas were different from others.

He has a good experience in different fields which he has served in these years which includes Call center, Teaching, NGO’s and Media.

“I want to create employment opportunities for young people in Kashmir Valley where getting a Job is not a easy task due to so many reasons” he said.

“There is too much difference between “earn while learn and learn while earn” and when people will come to know this, it will become easy helpful to the unemployed sector” he added.

After working for several Newspapers Irshad started his own Portal in year 2015 www.valleyonline.in where his aim was to serve humanity and create employment opportunities for unemployed youths.

His school friends and other coworkers supported him and encouraged him which make his work easy.

Through this portal Irshad and his Team share all stories, articles related to employment, education and other development which can bring Joy and Smile on faces of those unemployed youths.

One of a section on this website valleynline.in is a ‘Students Special’ which is a household name in whole Kashmir.

Most of local students from different schools, colleges and universities have make a habit to visit this website and to check the latest updates.

While talking to this reporter Irshad said Unemployment has touched sky in Kashmir due to corruption, unavailability of industrial sector and the most important is people still depend on government and waits for government jobs due to limited private sectors.

He said Kashmiri youths have more talent and they are hardworking but the need is a platform where they could show their talent.

Irshad has recently started a small scale unit “Valley Creations” where a dozen youths can get employment in different sectors.

According to the founder of Valley Online Beigh Irshad ‘Valley Creations’ which is a unit of Valley Online will become a employment provider for hundreds very soon.

Presently ‘Valley Creations’ have new openings like Designer, Operator and marketing executives etc.
