Has Katy Perry hit back at Ryn Weaver with cryptic `true friends` message

Washington : Katy Perry has recently shared a cryptic message about true friends after singer Ryn Weaver accused her of being mean at Coachella.

The 31-year-old singer shared a friend’s quote saying, “Chang-an writes, ‘If one befriends another person but lacks the mercy to correct him, one is in fact his enemy.’ The consequences of a grave offense are extremely difficult to erase. The most important thing is to continually strengthen our wish to benefit others.’ -Nichiren”, E! Online reports.

The `Roar` captioned the picture, “Aka if they ya true homie and they ain’t actin right, smack em wit love or else they gonna get k.o. from the universe n s**t.”

While, it is unclear what prompted Perry to pen this post. It seems like that this message comes in the wake of Weaver lashed out tweets.

In the tweets, which she later deleted, the `Fool` hit-maker claimed that Perry had openly bullied her after she performed at the annual festival in California.

Weaver tweeted, “No offense @katyperry but considering how much of a bully you were to me.. I hope u don’t mind my mindful disagreement with your dollar endorsement.”

She continued, “Anytime I spoke she started turning her head around pretending she heard something… Then said ‘dos [sic] u hear something?’ While staring at me.. Anytime I spoke.. After we were already friends.. Did this the entire night. (ANI)
