On the occasion of Rakhi Festival TRS Parliamentary Member K Kavitha today tied a Rakhi to her brother and Minister KT Rama Rao today. As part of exchanging pleasantries Kavitha offered sweets to him.
Brahma Kumaries also came to meet the minister and tied rakhis to mark the festival. The stated that KTR is standing like brother to the people of Telangana. They hoped that every program being taken up the minister will be a success.
On the occasion, Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav celebrated the Rakhi festival. Women from his Sanatha Nagar constituency and other places of the city came to the minister’s house. They tied rakhis to Srinivas Yadav and exchanged pleasantries.
While across 10 Telangana districts the Rakhi festival was celebrated amid enthusiasm and gaiety. Sisters tied rakhis to their brothers to mark the occasion and exchanged sweets and pleasantries. Raksha Bandhan is noted for rejuvenating the relationship between families as it reflects the culture and tradition. (NSS)
