Hyderabad: Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha has started the campaign called ‘Sisters4Change’ which has received overwhelming response from cross section of people.
Chief Minister of Orissa Naveen Patnaik, various political party leaders, sports personalities including badminton stars Saina Nehwal, Gutta Jwala and Mithali Raj as well as people belonging to different walks of life, especially ladies have pledged their support to the unique campaign.
Starting the campaign Kavitha urged the sisters to gift their brothers a helmet along with ‘Rakhi’ on Rakshabandhan. Kavitha had started an online campaign on social media. Her twitter message read “Anguished by the number of 2-wheeler accidents, I would like to make a serious effort 2 save some lives. Join me #Sisters4Change and #GiftAHelmet,”.
