KCR Asks Chinese Cos To Build World Class Infra In Hyd

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today asked a Chinese delegation to prepare ultra modern and scientific plan for embellishing Hyderabad with world class infrastructure, bridges, level separators and other facilities.
A delegation comprising directors Yogesh Wah and Manoj Gandhi of Anju Infra, Radic Consulants chairman Rajkumar, Bridge Designing chief BP Sing called on him at camp office. Informing about strategic road development plan, KCR asked them to participate in the process of transforming Telangana into a golden state and make Hyderabad a global city. KCR listed out the schemes and projects for the purpose and asked them to come up with suitable plans to cater to the growing population demands and the future needs in the city and other small cities and towns. These companies which are noted in construction of roads, bridges and suspension bridges have evinced interest in offering their services in Telangana state.
KCR stated that they have plans of infrastructure and facilities at Nizamabad, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, Ramagundam. A plan is on chords to lay 42 km six-lane stretch on Musi river from east to west in the city, he said adding that the city is expanding to 50 km and plans must suit their needs. Express ways, level separators form part of our plan, KCR said adding that the government wants to have a suspension bridge at Durgam Cheruvu near Hyderabad and three bridges across Godavari River. The chief minister is likely to hold another meeting with these companies on preparing the new plans.(NSS)
