KCR calls for high-level meet to discuss RTC crisis

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has convened a meeting to discuss and resolve the problems being faced by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC).

The Chief Minister on Thursday directed Transport Minister P. Mahender Reddy, RTC Chairman S. Satyanarayana, MD G.V. Ramana Rao to call for a meeting in the next two-three days to discuss measures to turn RTC into a profitable organisation. The Chief Minister directed that all Depot Managers, Regional Managers and top officials should attend the meeting with complete details on number of buses, functioning of bus depots and other relevant information.

KCR said that a comprehensive policy could be drafted after having a detailed discussion with all the officials on the issue. (INN)
