KCR gives B Form to Dayakar, extends Kalyana Lakshmi to BCs and BPL people

TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today handed over a B Form and A form to Pasunuri Dayakar to contest Warangal bypoll for MP seat, at Telangana Bhavan here on Saturday.

KCR picked Dayakar, a poor and yet active leader in the TRS since its inception. He appealed to the leaders to strive for winning the seat as the party will fund Dayakar to contest the Warangal bypoll. KCR announced amid applause that he will help the BC girls to get married through Kalyana Lakshmi. He said a related exercise is on to provide the scheme to all those who are under BPL category. Thus technically, the marriage scheme will be extended to all those girls under BPL category.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister exhorted the party leaders and activists to make efforts to help him win. “Dayakar is a poor leader and we have to spend party fund towards election expenses and win the seat. We will sure win the seat with collective efforts,” he said. KCR announced extension of Kalyan Lakshmi scheme to girls of BCs and other castes below poverty line category. He claimed that Telangana is No 1 welfare state in India with steep hike in pensions for widows, old age and others and supplying fine rice to the hostels. A national TV channel adjudged Telangana as the best welfare State in the country, he said.

Unlike the previous governments that built houses for electoral gains, the TRS government will now be constructing 60,000 double bedroom houses for the poor, he said. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav appreciated the water grid scheme for which we will spend Rs 45000 crore to give safe waters to the people. (NSS)
