KCR gives nod for giving jobs to 22 non-locals in SCCL

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, responding to a representation from Nizamabad Rural MLA Bajireddy Goverdhan, issued instructions to N. Sridhar Chairman and Managing Director, Singareni Collieries Company Limited to consider sympathetically and take appropriate action regarding the recruitment of 22 Non Local Merit Candidates for the post of Junior Mining Engineer trainee (JMET) in the company. 

The MLA, along with some of these non-local merit candidates, met the Chief Minister on Wednesday in the camp office. It has been bought to the notice of KCR that during the recent recruitment of JMET the appointing authorities has removed the Non Local Candidates in the list and among that list 22 are in the merit. It has also been bought to the notice that all these candidates belong to the weaker sections including SC, ST & BC. Based on their representation, the Chief Minister instructed the CMD Singareni Collieries Company Limited to consider the case sympathetically. (INN)
