KCR govt miserably failed: TPCC

Alleging that the KCR government has prepared an action plan for a huge loot in the name of Bangaru Telangana, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Virkamarka said the State government was awarding contract works for money and announcing schemes for votes. 

           

The TPCC today organized ‘Thanks to Sonia Gandhi Day’ program on the occasion of formation day of Telangana State here on June 2 at Gandhi Bhavan. After hoisting national flag, Bhatti said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao stated he would complete only 99 percent of the works instead of 100 percent. But there were no funds to construct the double bed room houses, land distribution to dalits and KG to PG free education scheme, he pointed out. The State government failed to spend a single rupee on the schemes and it was also not implemented 12 percent reservation to the Muslims and tribals, he said and asked the Chief Minister to tell how he would say that his government was implementing schemes 99 percent.

           

He claimed that the TRS government came to power two years ago but not completed the irrigation projects, which were completed 95 percent during Congress government. He said that the government inviting tenders for Rs.2.5lakh crore works in the name of projects re-design, Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakathiya works. “These tenders are only to loot Rs.1lakh crore from Rs.2.5lakh crore”, he alleged.

           

He asked the media to play opposition role in the state and said that otherwise dark days will come in the democracy. He assured the media managements not to afraid of TRS government and made it clear that the Congress party will stand by them. He asserted that Congress party would continue its fight against the government on behalf of Mallannasagar project victims.

           

Former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy alleged that the credit of achieving Telangana state was not belongs to KCR. KCR did fake Deeksha at NIMS, he said adding the information about KCR Deeksha was in NIMS.

           

Jaipal Reddy said that KCR has secret pact with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hence KCR was praising the latter. KCR was a good businessman and KCR praises some one only when he has work with the particular person.

           

Former Union Minister Sarvey Sathyanarayana said that KCR did nothing in the last two years and the creation of separate Telangana was possible only with Sonia Gandhi. He alleged that KCR has become a ‘Shani’ towards Telangana state.

           

Opposition leader in the Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir Ali has said that KCR ruling the state as a dictator. Most of the Cabinet Ministers were Telangana betrayers, he alleged.

           

CLP leader K Jana Reddy, former PCC Chiefs Ponnala Laxmaiah and P Narsa Reddy, former Minister Marri Shashidhar Reddy, former Union Minister Balaram Naik, party MLAs and MLCs and several other leaders participated in the program.

          

  Later, Hyderabad District Congresss meeting was held in the Gandhi Bhavan. Hyderabad in-charges—Balaram Naik, Kumar Rao, Hyderabad leaders Marri Shashidhar Reddy, Anjan Kumar Yadav, constituency level leaders, activists participated in the meeting and discussed on the steps to be taken to strengthen the party in division level.
