Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed happiness at the landslide victory of TMU in TSRTC elections whose results came to light on Tuesday night.
The TMU is the frontal wing of the ruling party in TSRTC and emerged victorious as expected by winning 10 regions out of 11 existing in the State. Reacting on the TMU victory, KCR rang up union president Ashwaddama Reddy and congratulated him on the occasion. The Chief Minister is understood to have asked the TMU to work for pushing the corporation to tread on the growth path. The government will extend all support to strengthen the TSRTC, KCR reportedly said. (NSS)
