KCR inspects development works at temple in Nalgonda district

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today visited the famous temple of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadadri in Nalgonda district and inspected the ongoing development works there.

The government has drawn up grand plans to develop the temple and designs of various proposed constructions are being prepared, a release from the Chief Minister’s Office said.

Observing that the number of devotees visiting the temple would see a “massive increase” in the future, Rao asked the officials to prepare plans for their stay, queue system and other facilities.

It should not be a problem even if more than a lakh devotees visited the temple on a day, he said.

Rao, who went around the place and enquired about the systems being put in place for water and electricity supply, underground drainage etc., gave extensive directives to the officials, including regarding the VVIP suits being proposed, the release added.
