KCR releases book on Telangana movement

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today released a book titled ‘Telangana Udyamala Charitra-Rashtra Aavirbhavam’ penned by political analyst V Prakash here on Monday at his Camp Office.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said writing of a book was a great effort and nobody has written Telangana history in such a comprehensive manner like Prakash in the past. He said Prakash witnessed several incidents during Telangana movement directly and penned the book with his experience. He said the book will help as a reference material for job aspirants, who attend the examinations conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC). He also suggested that this book will be kept available in the0 colleges, schools and public libraries for the benefit of the students and people.

Later, the Chief Minister felicitated Prakash and his wife with shawls. Power Minister G Jagdeesh Reddy, Government advisor K V Ramana Chary, Planning Commission vice-president Niranjan Reddy were present. (NSS)
