KCR thanks Hyderabadis, vows 1 lakh houses

Bowing to people of Hyderabad for giving the TRS mandate in the civic polls, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today asserted the government will construct 1 lakh double bedroom houses for poor in the city and keep all manifesto promises. As the people gave us the mandate every TRS leader should avoid being proud and headstrong and be more responsible with total integrity to offer the best services avoiding corruption he exhorted. No party won more than 52 seats in the history of GHMC and the TRS victory can be attributed to combine efforts of the leadership coupled with support from journalists’ families who also vote for us he said. All those residing in the city are Hyderabadis and will be protected as top priority. Unmindful of the opposition false campaign the people of Hyderabad supported the TRS he said. As per High Court directive the elections were conducted we did not violate norms he said adding that a decision will be taken on Mayor and deputy mayor post soon.

KCR tried to dispel the doubts that those of other states like Keralites and others too voted for the ruling party and vowed to provide two reservoirs and provide island power facility for uninterrupted supply. The government will deal with iron hand on land and order and flyovers, skyscrapers and level separators and keep all promises like setting up of more Rythu bazars, markets and burial grounds. Referring to CPI leader K Narayana’s jibe he said that we will take it in a sportive manner. He appealed to the opposition to respect mandate and come together for unitedly developing the city a global destination.
