KCR wants comprehensive development plan for temples


Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has directed the officials to prepare a comprehensive development plan for all temples across the Telangana State.

The Chief Minister on Wednesday held a review meeting with Endowment Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy and senior officials on the issue. The officials made a power-point presentation on development plans for various temples.

KCR said there should a special plan for development of temples located on the banks of Godavari River. They include temples at Dharmapuri, Kaleshwaram, Basar and Bhadrachalam. He said Bhadrachalam should be developed as a Temple City on the lines of Yadigirigutta. He said all facilities should be provided to the devotees. (INN)
