Kejriwal blames SAD for attack on his car in Ludhiana

Ludhiana : Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday blamed the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) for the attack on his car in Punjab’s Ludhiana city and said that the ‘nervous’ people would never succeed in their mission.

“My car attacked with sticks and stones in Ludhiana. Front glass pane broken. Badals n congress nervous? They can’t break my spirits,”Kejriwal tweeted.

A photo retweeted by the AAP’s official handle showed the broken windscreen of Kejriwal’s car and police present at the scene.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Ashish Khetan also criticized the SAD over the incident and accused the Punjab Police of being a mute spectator despite initiating action against the goons.

“In a well orchestrated attack the goons sent by Badals attacked Kejriwal’s car with stones & rods as police stood by,” Khetan tweeted.

He added that the attackers came with the motive of injuring Kejriwal and added that the latter escaped unhurt because of God’s grace.

Kejriwal is presently on a five-day visit to Punjab, which goes to polls later this year.

The AAP plans to contest elections to the 117-member Punjab Assembly. (ANI)
