Kerala: Oppn. alleges Budget was leaked by govt., walks out of Assembly

Trivandrum: The opposition leaders on Friday walked out of the Kerala Assembly alleging that the state Budget, which was presented by Finance Minister T. M. Thomas Isaac was leaked on social media.

“It is a serious thing. We will take it seriously. We will look into the matter and see what has happened,” said Isaac.

Isaac also said that highlights of the Budget were sent to media by the Finance Minister’s office and some of the announcement was released even before it was presented in the Assembly.

The presentation of the Budget was disrupted after the opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala alleged that the Budget was leaked through Facebook. (ANI)
