Job Description:

Position: Key Accounts Manager (Ford, Nissan, VW etc.)

Location: Hyderabad

Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Production with MBA in Marketing will be preferred.

Experience: 7 to 12 years of experience in business development or Managing Key Accounts like Ford, Nissan, VW etc. in MNC Tier 1 automotive Industry.

Working Knowledge: Experienced business Development or automotive sales professional, Highly developed negotiation and interpersonal skills, Complete knowledge of the organization and key senior contacts within the customer to which he/she is assigned, Held key sales management roles that enhanced his/her ability to direct and mentor business unit sales personnel at the specific customer including KAM assignment, Has a strong financial awareness. Proven ability in dealing effectively with customers. Enjoys customer contact and is accustomed to meeting and exceeding customers expectations and quality standards, has international business and multicultural experience and capabilities


1) Assesses and determines customer needs and how they can be best meet relative to Company and their customers.
2. Develops and recommends programs or projects directed at maintaining and increasing sales or overcoming customer objections to current products.
3. Recommends, develops and implements programs and projects directed at recovering, maintaining or increasing profitability.
4. Acts as liaison between Company and customers and maintains on-going, open communications at all times.
5. Recommends, develops and implements programs and projects that utilize corporate strengths in design and manufacturing.
6. Solicits, records and administers customer purchase orders, tooling orders and sample data.
7. Prepares data, information, forecasts or surveys that report, justify or analyze current and future positions or plans
8. Prepares and performs price negotiations together with other Functional Areas and Sales Director.
9. Prepares sales reports for current business.
10. Prepares sales estimates for short and long range factors impacting company plans, projects, goals and projections.
11. Participates in the development of sales projections, market potentials and trends.
12. Works in Cross Functional Teams with APQP-Process.


1) Focusing on strengthening the Companys leading position in local market by providing overall guidance and key account relationship building assistance.
2. Primary focus is to ensure the Company’s relationships are at the highest level within customer relative to Styling, Quality, Engineering, Design, Purchasing, and the aspects of Customer Service, while interfacing with and supporting the Business Unit personnel.
3. become a Voice of the Customer within the global organization and strengthen its customer focus and market-driven management approach.
4. Responsible for the development and direction of the specific customer related STRAP (strategic account planning which includes identification of market trends, future programs, commercial aspects, competitive intelligence, product changes, etc…)
5. Support Business Unit STRAP (strategic account planning which includes identification of market trends, future programs, commercial aspects, competitive intelligence, product changes, etc…) as required.
6. Responsible for leading monthly meetings aligning Business Unit activities with customer strategy, thus requiring regular direction and communication with Business Unit Sales Personnel.
7. Accountable for ensuring a successful growth strategy with the assigned customer locally.
8. Work with Product Engineering/Business Units to ensure that Company new product development meets or exceeds customer expectations as defined by customer executives within advanced engineering and/or styling.

Salary:INR 14,00,000 – 16,00,000 P.A
